Bloomington is a developed commercial city located just northwest of the Indianapolis area but is inside the border of Illinois. Bloomington is near the Peoria urban expansion and has a prosperous economy based on higher education, medical, insurance, and many more industries that make it rock solid. Bloomington offers many residential parts of town which are reasonably priced though there are a few upscale neighborhoods which are quite elegant. People who come to Illinois are attracted to Peoria townhouses for rent but find that outer cities like Bloomington are basically a continuum of the same area that just offers more of the same great rentals.
