Southfield is a commercial based city located in Michigan, which has many residential neighborhoods as well. Southfield has a booming downtown area full of skyscrapers which contain office buildings, hotels, and luxury condominium rentals. This area also has a plethora of higher education facilities so there are many college districts around the area full of young people looking for cheap rentals near their campus. Many who come to this area once looked at condos for rent in Detroit, but found Southfield is more friendly to residential living.
